Climate change is one of the defining challenges of our time, yet the gap between what is needed and what is being done remains wide. Greenhouse gas emissions keep building up—like a tap filling a bathtub that is close to overflowing.

Transitioning away from fossil fuels (TAFF) is the defining challenge of our time.
Today, a powerful, growing global movement is rising to meet it—uniting diverse sectors, local communities, and nations in a shared mission. Whether you want to explore renewable energy adoption, grid modernization, the electrification of transport, or just transitions for workers, there are countless stories to tell.
This edition celebrates cross-sector innovation, grassroots grit, the political willpower of countries phasing out fossil fuels, and the collective action shaping our clean energy future.
JOIN THE COMPETITION
Create a short video that informs, inspires, and moves people to take action on climate change. Your work should help everyone—from citizens to professionals—understand its causes, consequences, and the urgency to act.
KEY INFO
- Video format: Can either be live-action (max. 3 minutes) or animated (max. 2 minutes), with horizontal orientation
- Participation: Free and open to everyone
- Grand prize winner: 1500 EUR (with two other finalists)
